Welcome to my Stampin' Up Adventure!

Hello!

Welcome to my Stampin' Up Adventure!  I have officially joined the gang as an Independent Demonstrator this year.  I've been a customer of Stampin' Up since around 2009.  When the Pandemic hit, making paper crafts, knitting, cross stitching, and mask sewing hit the top of my to-do list in March of 2020.  Well, that and doing my dog farming.  Let me quickly swerve and talk about my pals so that you know why they get to have their pictures at the top of my blog.

I have 4 kids.  The kids then grew up.  I adopted 3 dogs over the years named Blue, Buffy, and Danni.  I also now have a foster dog, Poppy, who is going through training to become a Leader Dog for the Blind.  So 4 dogs!   I am so thankful for them and greatly enjoy my dog farming.  They will sit by me for hours (mostly) as I craft and listen to me talk.  They don't judge my crafting choices or even ask me why I have so many projects going at once.  Sometimes they get their hair on my stuff.

Recently Buffy (pictured on the left above) passed away.  It is very crushing to lose a dear loyal friend who was there for you everyday for so many years.  I still feel her around my house.  I sure know her hair is still around a bit and her nose smudge is on the window.  I'm not cleaning that for a while.  This also was a reason why I decided to join Stampin' Up.  I wanted something FUN to happen!  Making cards and just working with all of the cool papers, stamps, designs, and tools really has given me so much of a creative outlet.  There is just no end to what you can create.  Sometimes at night, if I can't sleep, I'll think about what could I make the next day.  I also love to knit and dye yarn so really it all comes back to playing with beautiful colors and textiles.

I've just recently received my Starter Kit (I share a video of that on my Facebook Page that you can click on over on the right side of the page).  I plan on sharing lots of my creations and ideas here.  I hope you'll join me!

Here is a picture of the sample cards I made with my Paper Pumpkin kit that I received in my starter kit.  This was the kit from December.  I love subscription boxes of any kind!  I highly recommend that you give Paper Pumpkin a chance!  If you can, I have my link on the right for that as well!

Here's to all of us and the fun we're going to have!  See you next time!
