Chicken Celebration Card

Oh, yes!  I've got another Chicken Card!  I wanted to make a card that was a bit non-traditional as a Graduation Card and I also want to use Chickens as much as I can.  So here you go!  I hope you enjoy it!

Some of the supplies used in this card will be retiring (May 4) and are on sale!  It's nice to get a deal!  The 2019-2021 Cardstock Pack, Artistry Bloooms DSP, and Ribbon are good ones to go get before they're gone!

Chicken Celebration Card Directions:

·         Artistry Blooms DSP Dark Purple  4” x 5-1/4”

·         Basic White 1 @ 3-3/4” x 5”, 1 @ 4” x 5-1/4”

Instructions:

·         Die cut the smaller leaf wreath from Arrange A Wreath Die with green paper from Artistry Blooms DSP.  Cut small flowers from this same die set of varying pink, purple, and rose scraps from the same DSP.  Cut an approximate 2” scalloped circle from the Layering Circles Die Set from a pink or rose piece of the DSP.  Cut a scalloped oval with the Double Oval Punch in a pink or rose color DSP scrap.

·         Stamp partial Chickens from Hey Birthday Chick Stamp Set around border of smaller Basic White rectangle with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink as shown in picture.  Use the Sponge Daubers to fill in white area in between the partial chickens with Pastel Pink.  Stamp one Chicken in the scalloped circle with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  Stamp the sentiment “Let’s Celebrate You” in the scalloped oval with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.

·         Adhere the dark purple large rectangle to the front of the Pretty Peacock card base.  Then attach the chicken border Basic White card to the top of the purple.  Use the Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the Chicken in the scalloped circle.  Use Mini Glue Dots to place the wreath around the Chicken.  Tuck the top branches under the circle.  Use Mini Dimensionals to attach small flowers around the wreath and finish them off with Pastel Pearls in the centers as you like.

·         Place a drop of glue from the Multipurpose Liquid Glue in the lower right area below the wreath and place the ribbon as shown.

·         Place the sentiment oval over the ribbon with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

·         Adhere the Basic White larger rectangle to the inside of the card.

·         Enjoy!  You can get the supplies needed by clicking on my Project Page:  Shana's Project Page with Supplies.  Thank you!  See you next time!  Shana & the Dogs
